The purpose of the CHORE program is to aid residents of Seneca County, age 60+, to be a vital and active part of the community  The program offers assistance with exterior home maintenance, minor repairs and tasks which they may not otherwise be able to perform due to physical or financial limitations.

CHORE can assist with: Lawn mowing Leaf and snow removal Gutter cleaning Storm and screen window installation Leaky faucet repair Loose step repair Hand rail installation Smoke Detector service and installation Many other tasks requiring less than two man hours

CHORE is intended to assist in minor repairs only, not for new construction or renovation. The only requirement to be eligible for CHORE, and all other services, is that the client is 60 years of age or older.

The CHORE program is made possible through a grant from the Episcopal Community Services Foundation of Northern Ohio.
